NEW YEAR 01.01.2011!

"New YearS" to me is a reminder that theres a "rainbow of hope" into things to come. I know a lot of people do not like making "Resolutions" because of the big hype "great expectations" and then possible let downs and disappointments. But consider this: New Years is a reminder that IT IS OKAY TO BEGIN AGAIN. never be afraid to start over. As long as you have the opportunity to live, rejoice in New Years! Because for someone else, it means NEW THINGS!

MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU!

TRUE BEAUTY COMES FROM WITHIN

♥❀.•*¨*•.✿♥I am starting to realize more and more that true beauty really does come from the inside. It is given to us by our beautifully, creative Creator. When we allow God to make us beautiful by HiS Holy Spirit and HiS unfailing LoVe, grace and all that it encompasses, then our beauty shines on the outside, and we reflect the image of God. A love for God is true beauty. Seek The Lord God your Savior and you will find beauty in HiM, thus the beauty in you. Outer beauty is fading, just a beautiful shell ready to crack. But real beauty is this; The Bible says in Proverbs 31:30, “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.” (TRUE BEAUTY)–In Him we LiVe.♥❀.•*¨*•.✿♥

God's Love truly is Overwhelming

His love covers a multitude of sins!

ReFlecTioN of A FloweR

I had a vision that I was looking into the mirror and I saw A REFLECTION OF A FLOWER. I turned to look behind me to see if the flower was there and it wasn't. I looked into the mirror again, squinted my eyes to watch closely in the mirror. I thought to myself, "Am I dreaming?" And the Lord said, "No." Then the Lord asked, "What do you see?" I said, I SEE A FLOWER. THE LORD replied, "What you are seeing is correct. "It is A REFLECTION OF MY BEAUTY. What I have put in you is to be DISPLAYED FOR MY GLORY. You are no different than this flower that you see in the mirror. Keep staring and I WILL SHOW YOU WHO YOU REALLY ARE. What I put in you is to come out. I created flowers so that you can be reminded of MY WORK IN YOU. YOU ARE TO REMIND OTHERS OF MY GLORY/BEAUTY."

"BEAUTIFUL WOMAN. LEARN FROM THE FLOWER. You need Me like a flower needs water. You are to be DEEPLY PLANTED and ROOTED IN MY WORD like the flower is to be deeply rooted in the earth. You need nourishment to live. You need to be in safe surroundings. YOU ARE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE WHERE EVER I PLACE YOU. Your fragrance is to be sweet and you are to light up any atmosphere. Like the flower, you are to bring beauty into any thing that you are surrounded by. IT IS GOING TO BLOOM FORTH. FRESHLY CUT, PRUNED WHERE IT IS NEEDED AND HANDLED WITH MY CARE. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AS I TAKE CARE OF YOU. I TAKE CARE OF THE FLOWERS OF THE FIELD AND THE BIRDS OF THE AIR, AND ALL THE LIVING, HOW MUCH MORE WILL I TAKE CARE OF YOU?"

"FLOWERS ARE GIVEN ON MANY OCCASIONS AS AN EXPRESSION OF ADORATION AND APPRECIATION. YOU ARE TO GIVE OF YOURSELF TO EXPRESS MY LOVE TO MANY. Everything about you is beautiful. I created you that way. MY BEAUTY AND MY GLORY WILL BE REVEALED IN YOU ALL THE MORE IN MY TIME. There is a deeper meaning to women receiving flowers. It is more than just a gift but a reminder of who I AM."

"SO BLOOM LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW, SHINE LIKE THE SUN, GROW IN MY WORD, LIVE IN EACH MOMENT AND SHARE WHO I AM TO AS MANY AS YOU CAN."

Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.

Song of Solomon 2:12

Single With A Purpose

In my Junior year of college, I was very busy with being an RA, (Resident Assistant) working two campus jobs, and also a part of a campus ministry team and I started to think to myself, Lord...I would like to be in a relationship with a guy. All these couples I saw hooking up and I was thinking, "Lord, What about me? Why am I still single?"

Okay so I know I'm not the only one who asked the question, "Why am I single?" There have been countless times I have asked God this question. I feel like I have an intimate relationship with the Lord to ask other questions so why not ask God this question. I mean, I attended a Christian college for goodness sake! lol! I thought to myself, some people come to college to find their mate!

I made a vow to God that I would wait on Him to put me in a relationship intead of me trying to make something happen. I just didn't want to come off too eagered. But what does "waiting" mean? To me, when I think of "waiting" I think of just sitting around and being put on-hold. I think of being delayed for a purpose or held back for a specific reason. Waiting can also mean doing something else in place of expectancy. So, in essence, I was going to keep doing what I was doing, and just expect something to happen in the process. (If that makes any sense.) lol!

My biggest thing in this waiting process was that I wanted to make sure I was open to new things, or possible new relationships but I didn't want to jump into anything too soon and it ends up not working out for me in the long run. I know what you're thinking...How would you know if it will work or not unless you take a chance? or risk! Im glad you asked, and that is an excellent question to ask God (smile). He would love to answer that for you. lol! No, all jokes aside, The truth is, we don't know, but God does. And for those who have a true intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus, we can rely on Him to keep us pure, clean and whole before Him while we wait, especially in our singleness.

I have come to the conclusion that there are things that we are to be doing for the Lord that He wants us to focus on right now. Well, I am speaking for myself now. (not that He can't still use us while we are in relationships, because He can). In fact, God uses couples all around the world and they are doing amazing things for His glory. But for those who questioned their singleness, like me, maybe this will help you out a little.

So back to the singleness question: I said, "God, why I am single?"

I sat quietly before the Lord after asking and I felt such a gentleness and spirit of grace come upon me. It's like The Lord was sitting next to me in my room to help me understand this question. Deep in my heart of hearts, there were words that sprung up that could only come from the Lord. (How do I know? Because, I sure wasn't thinking those words! lol! Anyway, I listened to my heart and this is what The Lord said:

"You are single Because you belong to me and I have need of you. YOU ARE SINGLE WITH A PURPOSE, YOU ARE SINGLE ON PURPOSE. MY PURPOSE. Think about it, would you be totally committed to the girls on your floor that I have intrusted to your care and the ministry i have called you to this semester if you were in a relationship?"

And in that moment, I knew that the Truth was setting me free. I had to honestly say, "No." I would have tried to squeeze time in for all of the things i was doing, but someone or something was going to get slighted. And let's not forget, I was a junior as well. Besides, I was doing too much already.

The fact of the matter was this; I was living amongst some lost and hurting girls on my floor and in the building both years as an RA and there was something far more greater at stake than me wanting to be in a relationship.

The lives of many young women I lived amongst and have encountered as a result of my obedience to God have been changed for the better! The Lord gave me such amazing friendships with those young ladies that year! ALL GLORY TO JESUS FOR HIS GRACE AND MERCY THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME and trusting me with such amazing young women!

I now know that God needs me to be single right now to continue "the good work He has begun in me." If it is the Lord's will, One day I will get married and have even more work. lol! Until then, I will live out my life pleasing to the Him in purity, freedom and as much balance as possilbe! And have some fun too! ;)

So I say to God, LORD, YOU ARE WORTH THE WAIT!

So...What's your purpose for being single right now? He may be calling you to a lifestyle or lifetime of singleness. If you don't know, I would encourage you to seek the LORD so that he may show you.

I'm starting to understand more and more that being single is not punishment but preparation. You may have more work for the LORD to do. So...Get busy!!! Don't forget to continue to wait on the LORD in your singleness. What ever that means to you.

Isn't God worth the wait? Because when we wait on Him, we get His best instead of our best. And His Best is so much Better! ; )

Signed,
Single on Purpose.

To worship HiM I live; I live to worship HiM!

Jesus explains to us in John 4:24 that,
"God is SpIrIt and those who worship HiM must worship him in spirit and in truth...
For they are they are the kind the Father seeks."

i want to be a true worshipper!!!
I want to be who God is seeking after. In my heart, I am always seeking HiM!
Well, at least trying to anyway.

But I want my lifestyle to be that I live to Worship God and not a place, person or thing!
I want to know what it truly means to have the Father seek me!

I know that we are to seek God's face on a daily basis. Well, actually every second, minute, hour!
The Bible say's "As we seek the Lord, he will be found by us."

So i say this,

God I will live a lifestyle of worship unto you. Because it is in you that I live, move and have my being!

A CHALLENGE TO THE CHALLENGED

CHALLENGE
chal⋅lenge, [chal-inj]- noun, verb

1. a call or summons to engage in any contest, as of skill, strength, etc.
2. something that by its nature or character serves as a call to battle, contest, special effort, etc.: Space exploration offers a challenge to humankind.
3. a call to fight, as a battle, a duel, etc.
4. a demand to explain, justify, etc.: a challenge to the treasurer to itemize expenditures.
5. difficulty in a job or undertaking that is stimulating to one engaged in it.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/CHALLENGE

I don't think people grow up saying, When I grow up, I want to be CHALLENGED. For the most part, CHALLENGED is not something we want to be. It's not even something we want to face at times! (Well, I will speak for myself). I mean, who in their right mind wakes up saying, "I want to be CHALLENGED today." I know I don't! First of all, When I think about the word CHALLENGE, it sometimes takes me to an uncomfortable place. A place where I don't want to go. A place that I don't want to see. Why? Because CHALLENGE is going to be there staring me dead in my face. I am going to have to look CHALLENGE square in the eyes and say, "What do you want from me?" CHALLENGE can come in expected or unexpected ways. CHALLENGE can knock us down or build us up. CHALLENGE can cause us to run away or force us to fight! CHALLENGE can be demanding OR commanding. CHALLENGE can cause us to grow up or shut down. CHALLENGE can strengthen us, or make us weak. Sure CHALLENGE is meant to be hard, but sometimes, it's good that it's hard. How else will we grow? How else will we build character or learn the true meaning of integrity? How else will we persevere? How else will we learn to press on and push the limits? You see, CHALLENGE wants to be our friend. But we make it our enemy. Not that we are to be best friends with CHALLENGE, but that we accept CHALLENGE for what it is. CHALLENGE teaches us boundaries and wisdom in our everyday life's experience. Yes CHALLENGE is hard, and does hurt SOMETIMES but it also teaches us to love, to listen and to live life by letting others in to help us get thru those CHALLENGES that come our way. CHALLENGEs come and go as they please, so we mine as well get used to to them coming around. Because CHALLENGE is a part of life. CHALLENGE is doing it's job and we have to do our job to face it in a healthy way.

So,
Other ways we can face CHALLENGE?
As an opportunity to grow and learn what we are really made of.
As a door ready to be kicked opened to something new, bigger and exciting.
As a bridge crossing to greater things.
As a window openning to something deeper stirring in our soul.
As a voice screaming or maybe even whispering in our ears, hearts, and minds to never give up.
As a mountain meant to be climbed to get over that person, place or thing that is holding us back or keeping us down.

Let me encourage you as I encourage myself.
CHALLENGE wants us to accept what it is! Not for what it does to us or how it makes us feel.

Sure it gets uncomfortable. Sure it get's hard, but WE MUST ALL COME TO FACE OUR CHALLENGES (what ever they may be) and learn to deal with them.

Honestly, I am being CHALLENGED as I write this. But I am also ENCOURAGED! : )

WILL YOU ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE!
CHALLENGE DARES YOU TO ACCEPT IT.
How will you respond to CHALLENGE?

THERE ARE ALOT OF CHALLENGES IN THIS BLOG! I KNOW! LOL! : )

BUT I CHALLENGE YOU AS I HAVE BEEN CHALLENGED MYSELF TO LOOK AT IT AS A
DEVINE OPPORTUNITY TO GLORIFY GOD! NO MATTER WHAT IT IS!

SO INSTEAD OF SAYING, WHY ME?
ASK THE LORD, "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO GET OUT OF THIS."

BE EMPOWERED.
BE ENCOURAGED.
BE INSPIRED.
BE CHALLENGED.

This is how you spell FORGIVENESS: L-O-V-E; Let it go! (For your own sake!)

Easier said than done, I know!

I am a living witness to this! lol!

But each day I live and learn from my mistakes and victories in this contest we call life I am convinced that you can never misspell Love or FORGIVEness... Or grace and mercy for that matter! lol!

So why am I spelling forgiveness L-O-V-E?

*Because I have been forgiven because of God's love to me thru the life, death, burial and ressurrection of Jesus Christ!
*The Bible say's we love God because He first loved us. So I desire to live a life with a love for others, because He commands us to. No matter how hard we make it to be.

*And a love for ourselves, trust me! its for our own good.

I am learning more and more that forgiveness is hardly ever about the person who wronged us, but about us learning to forgive them. And what a process that is. But I am encouraged to know that, it is in forgiveness that we are forgiven and can live in freedom to live, move on and love.

I know that this world is filled with so much pain and evil. People have done some horrific things to others in this world. How can one stand to move on from such terrible experiences? I don't want you to think that I have it all figured out because I don't. i can only go by my own personal experiences and help those along the way. I do not have the anawers to life's hard, complicated questions. I know the PERSON WHO HAS THE ANSWER AND IS THE ANSWER AND CAN SAVE ALL THOSE WHO CALL UPON HIS NAME! I KNOW OF ONE WHO CAN SET ALL CAPTIVES FREE! I KNOW OF ONE WHO CAN HEAL ALL WOUNDS! HIS NAME IS JESUS!

The Greatest EXAMPLE of all TiMe: JESUS

Stretched out his arms on that rugged cross! Bled, died and rose again!
Still forgiving us for our many, many sins with His unconditional love!
I am convinced that when I think on that alone...How much more can I do to forgive and love those wrong-doers in my life.

We are always going to have wrong-doers to keep us humble and at the face of Jesus.

1 John 3: 16-21
16This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 17If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? 18Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 19This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence 20whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

21Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. 23And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

1 John 4: 7-197Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

13We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. 14And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.

16And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 17In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. 18There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

19We love because he first loved us. 20If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Amen & Amen.

Let me encourage you while I encourage myself:

There are so many bad experiences we have in this world that causes us to not want to forgive, love or live but, it is in those hard lessons of life that builds us up and makes us strong to be able to live on.

The apostle Paul boldly speaks out to the Corinthian church and to us about what love really is. As eloquent as it sounds he really is letting them (and us, the hearers and do-ers of the Word) have it in a way that is putting us in our place about what we think love is. Basically what he is saying is. You are not showing love to others..."And now I will show you a most excellent way" to love...

It is then in the famous 1 Corinthians 13 passage that he explains how to love and what love really is and what it is not.

So we read 1 Corinthians 13 as a reminder to us on how we should treat oneanother.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Let us look at FORGIVENESS and LOVE in a new light.

Training Wheels

One sunny Saturday morning, little 7 year old Victoria and her dad was spending time together watching cartoons in the family room. As the cartoons ended, Victoria axiously asks her father, "Daddy, what are we going to do today?" with her eyes so bright, daddy can see the glow and expectation of his face in them, he says to her,? "Sweetpea, today, I'm going to take off your training wheels and teach you how to ride a bike. "Victoria's smile turned upside down and she says frighteningly, "B...Bu...But I don't think I'm ready." Daddy's idea did not sound like the other fun-filled, exciting ideas they normally did on when they spent time together Saturdays. She thought of the other times when they went to the park and the carnival and the circus, and the other great adventurous things they did together and thought to her self, she will never be able to do those things again because she would be in a cast from trying to learn how to ride a bike. Victoria sadly looks at daddy and say's, " I'm not ready." Daddy looks at her and says, "Yes you are, I will be right there with you the whole time. "So Daddy tells, his little girl to run upstairs to get her safety equipment and meet him back downstairs. Little Victoria slowly makes it upstairs. Worried about what might happen, she contemplates, "What if I fall? What if I don't get it the first time, What if I never learn to ride a bike?" She is shaken while she puts on her safety helmet and pads. Daddy calls out to her, "Sweetpea, It's time, are you almost ready?" She comes down the stairs slowly and looks at him as if this was her last time she was going to see him and walk down those stairs. Daddy patiently waits for her with a smile on his face and says, "Take my hand, I'm right here with you." tears starts to fall from her cheerless eyes. Daddy holds her hand and she holds his tighter.

What she doesn't know is that Daddy is holding back his tears as well. He wishes, he didn't have to put her on he bike. He wishes that he would just protect her forever and hold her in his arms, but he knows that he has to teach her to ride on her own.

They slowly walk to the bike and Victoria is watching daddy remove the training wheels. She is shaken with fear. After daddy removes the training wheels, he checks the bike to make sure it is safe and stable. He calls her over to the bike. "Come here sweetpea," he says. She stiffly walks towards him with her eyes closed. She cries, "Daddy, I can't do it!"

Oh how daddy wishes he could just pick her up into his arms and say, "ok, you don't have to" but instead he says, "Yes you can." She cries, "what if I fall?" Daddy says, "I will pick you up." Still holding back his tears, daddy gently places his shaken little girl on the bike. He can feel her heart beating fast as he hold her up on the bike. Sill holding back tears daddy whispers in his little girl's ear, "I'm not going to let you go until I know you are ready ok." She nods in agreement. "Ok."

He holds her steady on her bike and starts her off slowly pushing her. She wobbles and falls…Victoria was angry, frustrated and afraid…She gets off of the bike and runs away from her dad. Daddy calls her back and she just runs to hide in her room in the closet. She screams out to her dad, "You said, you wern't gpong to let me go! I'm never going to learn how to ride on my own.

Later on that day, Dad went up to comfort little Victoria. He convinced her that he would catch her if she fell and that he wanted her to trust him. She came out of her closet and went back out side to try again.

The father started to push her again, she wobbles and he catches her as she starts to fall. While he is doing this, he says to her, "That's it, you almost got it! you can do it!" She says, "Daddy! don't let me go!" He said, "not until I know you are ready. So they try it again a few more times and she wobbles, and even falls a few more times. But every time she fell, He would run to catch her, wipe her off and tell her to try again. They did this over and over again. The more they did it, the better she rode and the faster he was able to push her. In excitement, the little girl says, "Daddy! we are riding a bike with no training wheels!" Daddy replies, "Yes we are sweetie! Now, I want you to do it on your own. I am going to watch you."

The little girl says,in fear "Daddy, I don't think I'm ready." Daddy say's to her, "I have shown you what to do, you can do it. I am right here with you." So daddy starts her off on her bike again, and whispers in her ear, "Remember what I told you, I am right here with you." He pushes her and she wobbles and fall. He watches at a short distance wanting to run after her, but instead he says, "It's ok, wipe yourself off, get up and try again." She does it over and over again and Daddy watches her and tells her again, "Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and try again. "He reassures her, "I am right here, you can do it!"

So he starts her off on her bike again. He pushes her and she takes control of the bike and is now riding on her own. Daddy proudly yells, " I knew you could do it!" He calls her to ride back toward him. As he is watching his little girl ride back to him, he is watching the joy and confidence in her eyes. She yells, "Daddy I did it! I rode my bike on my own! I didn't fall! Did you see?!" Daddy, overwhelmed with joy says, "I saw every bit of it, and I am proud of you. " He picks up his little girl, and hold her in his arms as if he never wanted to let her go again. She rides the bike over and over again. Dad proudly watches her saying, "See, I told you, you could ride on your own."

I think of Elijah and Elisha in 2 Kings 2, when Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal. Elijah said to Elisha, "Stay here; the LORD has sent me to Bethel." But Elisha said, "As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So they went down to Bethel. The company of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked, "Do you know that the LORD is going to take your master from you today?" "Yes, I know," Elisha replied, "but do not speak of it." They went on their journey.

Again, Elijah says to Elisha, stay here, The Lord has sent me to Jericho. Elisha said No! As surely as the Lord lives and you live, I will not leave you! The company of prophets from Jericho then approached him and said… "Do you know the Lord is taking your master from you today… Elisha said, "Don't speak of it!"

And another time, Elijah Then Elijah said to Elisha, "Stay here; the LORD has sent me to the Jordan." Elisha replied, "As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So the two of them walked on.

When it was evident to Elisha that the LORD was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah said to Elisha, "Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?" "Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit," Elisha replied. "You have asked a difficult thing," Elijah said, "yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise not. "As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha saw this and cried out, "My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!" And Elisha saw him no more. Elisha was afraid, frustrated and angry with God for taking Elijah away. He screamed out, "Where now is the LORD, the God of Elijah?" Elisha had to let Elijah go, even though it was difficult. He was forced to let Elijah go. And in him doing that, the bible says, "The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha." And they went to meet him and bowed to the ground before him. When The Lord took Elijah away, Elisha did even greater works.

In our lives, as children of God, we too get angry, frustrated and afraid.
Like little Victoria and Elisha was angry, frustrated and afraid.

He did not want the Lord to take Elijah away from him. He did not want anyone to speak of it. There have been times in our lives when we want to hold on to people, places or things in our lives that have been comfort to us. They were always meant to be temporary. But we get so use to it that we say, No! I like where I am, or No! I don't want to do this or No! I don't want to let this person go! And God is telling us that He wants us to let it go! Not only that but, we have to depend on him to see us through.

We get angry, frustrated and afraid because we do not want the Lord to take us out of our comfort zone. We too have been, are in or will go through a training wheels season. You see training wheels are a form of transition. We must remember that: Training wheels were meant to be TEMPORARY. They were never meant to last long. They were only made for a short period of time in hopes that we as novice riders will get the help we need and move on. They were not meant to be a crutch but a guide or boost towards something greater.

We can outgrow training wheels also. Because they are designed for us while we are young and little. After a certain age and size, we wont get very far with them, even if we tried. The training wheels will surely break and we will then fall and be forced to move on our own. It is better to allow God to gently push up on the way that He has for us instead of us outgrowing the training wheels.

Where are you in your transition with the Lord? Are you still on training wheels?
Is it time for you to allow the Lord to take them off?
Will you give Him the right to give you that push you need to get ahead So that you can ride on your own?

At times, We too are on training wheels. Our Heavenly Father, God is holding on to our seats making sure we don't fall. He won't let go until he knows we are ready to ride on our own. Even in that, He is still there with us. We are never really "on our own." the question is: How long will we be on training wheels? That is entirely up to God. It is until He knows we are ready to come off of them.

Sometimes, He may have to take them off himself and give us a little push. But He is still there. What are your training wheels?

Is it time for God to take them off? Will you let Him? He is right there with you saying, "You can do it! I have shown you what to do. I am right here with you. I won't let you go until I know you are ready."We may wobble. We may even fall, but God, our Heavenly Daddy is there to pick us up, dust us off and put us back on the bike. There will even be times where God will watch us fall, and tell us to get up, wipe ourselves off and try again.

Let us let God remove the training wheels in our lives so that we may ride on our own. When we let God push us, He smiles, I knew you could do it! I am proud of you!"

Where are you in your transition with the Lord? Are you still on training wheels? Is it time for you to allow the Lord to take them off? Will you give Him the right to give you that push you need to get ahead So that you can ride on your own? He is watching you.

Little Victoria can now do many tricks with her bike because she let her dad teach her to ride. She might have fallen a lot and even gotten bruised but, she continues to get back on the bike and try again.

LITTLE VICTORIA IS ME!

Is little Victoria apart of you? Do you find yourself afraid to let God do certain things in your life? Let me encourage you while I encourage me...We too can do "greater works than these" if we allow God to take off our training wheels! Although little Victoria was afraid to ride on her own, she still had a trust in her father that he won't leave her or let her go. Daddy wanted her to see that her was letting her go because he loved her. He too had pain in his eyes, but he knew what was best for her. He knew that she would not get learn how to ride on her own unless he pushed her.

There is an even greater victory and reward in us allowing our Heavenly Father to teach us and push us. He is standing there saying, " Will you trust me to take off your training wheels and push you?" He knows what's best for us. He trusts and believes us that we can do it, we should trust and believe that He can do it in us!

Where are you in your transition with the Lord? Are you still on training wheels? Is it time for you to allow the Lord to take them off? Wherever you are I have this Question for you. Will you give Him the right to give you that push you need to get ahead So that you can ride on your own?

Shhhhhh. Can you hear the fruit Speaking? Profound Fruit Speaks out! (Galatians 5:22)

SEASONS

We spend most of our lives trying to make something great of it...And rightly so!But what are we trying to make of it?

We want to be someone special, someone important, someone great!
But in our quest to become something (or someone rather) great, do we ever stop to ask, "God, Who am I? What am I supposed to be doing? or better yet, "God, What will you have me do today? The great leaders of old and of our time have paved the way for us, and it is up to us to walk in those paths laid out for us.

But i am starting to wonder, "Maybe I have my own path to make?" Or am I to follow someone else's path (or footsteps)? This question can be answered in so many ways. It varies from person to person. One, it may very well be the Lord's will for one to follow in the foot steps of great leader. And two, God might be calling one to something else. Something even greater. Or maybe something, lets say... "less-greater" (for a season).

I think the key to it all is this: FINDING OUT WHAT SEASON GOD HAS YOU IN.

Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring all represents times of CHANGE. Each season brings happiness and sadness, joy and pain life and death all in one. You seriously can't have one with out the other. We all go through different seasons of life. Whether it is with people, places or things, there is a season we are in when we are living in these moments. For me-- my favorite season is Fall! I love fall! I love everything about it! It is the perfect medium between hot and cold. The cool, calm breeze of the wind and the beautiful mess the leaves make, the crisp sound of leaves crackling under my feet. Can't forget the beautiful foliage that overwhelms me as I take sunset walks or travel on the scenic roads marveling at God's creativity. His choice of colors are amazing! I love it! I also love bringing out the cute in-season boots and fly leather jackets, cute jean jackets, knitted hats and vibrant scarfs that goes with any outfit! I dress my best in the fall because I can still hold on to some summer clothes in this season. But i know that Fall will end and Winter will come, and I will have to prepare accordingly for the next season. I am going to have to put some things away to make room for the new!

Let us learn from King Solomon even in all his splendor, as he evaluates his life and ask yourself, "What season am I in?"

Check out
Ecclesiastes 3.

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
A time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Solomon goes on to say,

" He has made everything beautiful in it's time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men. Yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing can be taken from it. God does it so that men (or shall I say We) can revere HiM!"
So Do you know what kind of SEASON you're in? If not, Ask the Lord what will He have you to do this season. It could be a season of letting go of the old and embrasing something new and exciting! It could be a season of preparation of a great work or maybe its a season of seperation from people in your life! What ever it is, I encourage you to take time to hear what the Lord has to say about you! You MUST REMEMBER: SEASONS DON'T LAST ALWAYS. Whether it's good or bad. We all will have seasons of life that we love and some we will hate! That's just the way life is. So embrace whatever season the Lord calls you to! It will change your life!

Amen,

My mind speaks louder than words.

Poetry gives nourishment to my soul.

One can sing sweet melodies with the voice of poetry.

Tap into your heart and see what poetry can bring.

The sound of the voice of poetry is beautiful.

The words are creatively crafted. A symphony on paper.

Poetry is Mental music.

Listen to your heart and let your mind sing to you the mental music of poetry.
